CLASSES

TINY TOTS CLASSES

Tiny Tots Age 3- 4
Classes are 45 minutes.
Children are placed in mixed classes based on their age.

Maximum Ratio 8:1 coach

Parent or guardian participation required.
Our Tiny Tots classes are designed to incorporate the earliest aspects of gymnastics and motor skill development, using creative play and nurturing instruction.



TUMBLE TOTS CLASSES

Tumble Tots Age 5-6
Classes are 1 hour.
Children are placed in mixed classes based on their age.

Maximum Ratio 8:1 coach

Tumble Tot classes are designed to encourage group activity as well as individual participation. Classes provide a structured environment with a consistent class routine where children begin to accomplish their own goals and learn the fundamental movements and technical preparation required for the next level (either Recreational or High Found.). 



RECREATIONAL CLASSES

Recreational Age 7-16
Classes are 1 hour.
Children are placed in classes based on gender, age and ability

Maximum Ratio 10:1 coach


This unique class is designed for children with little or no previous gymnastics experience. Our specialized coaches will motivate the children via physical orientated games and demonstrations, which will help them to visualize the movements and gain the necessary foundation skills. This class is only conducted at Level 1 of the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Program for Females and Level 4 for Males.

Once children with no previous experience have have gained the basic skills in this class they can, at a parents request, be moved to the Higher Foundation level.  New students, on average spend 1 full term in the level.

Recreational is by its very nature "recreational" and children that do not wish to progress through the Levels are more than welcome to remain in this class for a s long as they wish.

Recreational students are not in the competition stream and do not participate in any competitions.



HIGHER FOUNDATION CLASSES                     

Higher Foundation Age 7-16
Classes are 2 hours.
Invitation Only
Children are placed in classes based on gender and ability


This level is designed for children with previous gymnastics experience who have demonstrated talent and desire to continue at a more challenging level.
Children begin to participate in specialized activities that are geared toward building strength, flexibility and stamina required for compulsory and voluntary apparatus skills and routines. USA Gymnastics JO Levels 1 through 6 are catered for in every session with coaches at each Level.

Children in these classes are required to participate in the Club Compulsory Floor & Vault competition (February) and the Compulsory Full Apparatus competition (June) every year.

Recommended frequency of 2 classes/week



TECHNICAL PREPARATION                    

Squad and Team Members Only
Classes are 3 hours
Children are placed in classes based on gender and ability

This session is designed for children with previous gymnastics experience who have demonstrated talent and desire to continue at a more challenging level.
Children begin to participate in specialized activities that are geared toward building strength, flexibility and stamina required for compulsory and voluntary apparatus skills and routines. USA Gymnastics JO Levels 3 through 6 are catered for in each session.

Children in these classes are required to participate in the Club Compulsory Floor & Vault competition (February) and the Compulsory Full Apparatus competition (June) every year.
